{"id":1812,"date":"2010-12-24T08:07:18","date_gmt":"2010-12-23T21:07:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vectorstorm.org\/?p=1812"},"modified":"2010-12-24T10:35:33","modified_gmt":"2010-12-23T23:35:33","slug":"site-housekeeping","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vectorstorm.com.au\/2010\/12\/24\/site-housekeeping\/","title":{"rendered":"Site housekeeping"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just a few quick notices:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I think I&#8217;ve re-fixed integration between the blog and the forums; \u00a0should no longer require re-logging in when you switch from one to the other.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve deleted a rather staggering number of accounts which had never posted anything to either the blog or the forums. \u00a0(About 4000 of them; \u00a0we had been accumulating them at a rate of around 8 per day for the last year or so, due to the unsecured &#8220;register&#8221; link over on the forum side). \u00a0If I&#8217;ve made a mistake and accidentally deleted your account, please let me know (and re-create it!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have a forum installed for the VGKnowHow series as well, but that&#8217;s not properly locked down yet, so I&#8217;m still not quite ready to post a link to it. \u00a0But it&#8217;ll be going live sometime before the next (ie: first) video, which will be sometime in the middle of next week. \u00a0Possibly on the Tuesday. \u00a0Eventually I&#8217;ll settle into a routine schedule for these things, but I&#8217;m not quite well enough prepared yet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a few quick notices: I think I&#8217;ve re-fixed integration between the blog and the forums; \u00a0should no longer require re-logging in when you switch from one to the other.
